These are instructions on how to use the SamFirm Tool to download the firmware for any Samsung smartphone or tablet.
Download Samsung Firmware using SamFirm Tool
- Download and extract the latest version of the SamFirm Tool on your computer. Once you have extracted the SamFirm Tool, you will be able to see the following files:
- Open the SamFirm.exe to launch the tool.
- Once SamFirm is launched, you will see the following screen:
- Select the “Auto” Checkbox (ignore if already selected).
- Write the model number of your device under “Model”. For example, SM-S931B is the model number for Galaxy S25.
- Write the region code of your country under “Region” (e.g. INS or INU for India).
- Write the IMEI number of your device (you can check your device’s IMEI number by dialling *#06#)
- Click the “Check update” button.
- SamFirm Tool will display the full file name, version, and size of your device’s latest firmware.
- To begin downloading, please click on the “Download” button.
- Please select the location on your computer where you would like to save the firmware.
- The download process will start automatically and may take a few minutes to complete, depending on the firmware size and your internet speed.
- After the download completes, the decryption process will begin automatically. This process may take a few minutes to finish.
- Go to the location where you saved the firmware in Step 11. For example, we have saved it in Downloads > S25.
Use the Odin Download Tool to install firmware on your Samsung device.
